God made us to have a relationship with us, but something happened. Because of all the wrongs that we've done, because of sin, it caused a separation between us and God. And i believe that everyone realizes that in some way or the other. And they try to do good works to try to get a relationship with God. But everytime, those good works fall short. We can't do anything on our own.
The bible says that the result of our sin is death. And because of this separation between us and God; and the fact that we can't make it over to God on our own, God had to do something to build a bridge. What he did was he sent his only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins. Because of what Jesus did on the cross, it paid our death and the debt we owed. And so now, what we need to do to get over to God, and have a relationship with him, is to receive Christ and to turn from our sins. And to receive the bridge that he has built for us to have a relationship with God.
Does this make sense to you? If you were to picture yourself, where would you see yourself? Separated from God or having received Jesus as your Lord and savior? If you are on the side of separation, I would like to invite you to receive Jesus...the bridge that God has built for us.

Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner, and that I live for myself and not for you. But today, I ask your forgiveness. And I receive your payment for my sins and receiving Jesus as my savior and as my Lord. Lord, please come into my life and begin to lead me. I pray this as sincerely as I know how.

Now if you sincerely prayed that prayer and you crossed over to receive Jesus as your savior, now you have a relationship with God but let me share with you what happened. First of all, you know have ETERNAL LIFE. What that means is not only will you go to heaven when you die, but when you receive Jesus as your Lord and savior, you now have a new quality of life...a real life. Also, your sins have been FORGIVEN. .God has completely wiped your slate clean. Also you have a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God now. That is what God intended for you and me to start with. Then the last thing is, he will NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE YOU. No matter what you go through, God will never leave you.
Now, commit to follow him and loving Jesus more than anything else. Find a bible teaching, trinity believing church and grow in Christ.
